Biography: Born in Portsmouth 1951, brought up in Portsmouth and Weymouth. Worked for Nat West Bank from 1972 to 2000 as a general manager in finance until I persuaded them to release me on voluntary redundancy! Since then I have spent 7 years studying so now I can share my love of London and its environs with you. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Special interests: As a former departmental manager in Nat West Bank I have good organisational skills, so your day should be as hassle free as possible.

I am passionate about London as The Best City in the World and will keep you amused and informed.

My areas of special interest are The City of London and Docklands.

I am pleased to conduct group guided walks and coach tours, but am also very pleased to give personalised tours of London and its environs to small groups using public transport.

Walking tours: I offer a comprehensive range of walking tours covering "Tourist London", but specialise in 1)Barbican in The City of London. 2)Clerkenwell and Smithfield Curiosities. 3) London Bridge to Rotherhithe. and 4) Rotherhithe to Greenland Dock (with a return to Central London on a Fast Ferry!)

Extended tours: I would be pleased to conduct extended tours anywhere in the UK.

Lectures given: Sir Hugh Myddelton's New River - Hertford to Islington.
