Biografía: Originally from Scotland, I've lived mostly in London. A career in the public service (education at all levels) was followed by a health-related job right in the heart of London. I also worked for four years with a charitable trust that raised disability awareness among schoolchildren. I would like to guide more groups with disabilities. I am married with three grown children and the grandchildren keep me in touch with "Kids' London" from dinosaurs to dalmatians!

Intereses especiales: My specialism is THE RIVER THAMES - enjoyable and well-informed walks along its banks, particularly the sections (reaches) from Hampton Court Palace to the Woolwich Flood Barrier. I welcome "eco-tourists" wishing to use "green" transport during their stay. I am also happy to guide on tour buses in the capital and on day trips from London to historic towns and stately homes. A special interest is Britain's unwritten and ever-changing Constitution. I enjoy guiding in the Houses of Parliament visitors from the UK and overseas.
I work in English and French and appreciate meeting French Canadians and visitors from the USA. I also have strong Russian connections.
I like answering a wide range of questions!
While not qualified to guide in Russian or German, I can understand questions in those languages and reply in English. (This is very useful for tourists learning English!)
