Biography: I spent most of my youth in various parts of the world and ended up running my own chalet/hotel business in Italy during the winter ski season. Now based in London, I have been working as a guide for over 20 years. I mainly work as a driver-guide taking small groups on personalised tours, anywhere within Britain and northern France, in my own vehicle. I do work with larger groups, plus lead walking tours of London. I have a lively sense of humour and endless patience, both of which are necessary in tourism. I have served on the Branch Council of the Association of Professional Tourist Guides and am currently Treasurer of the Driver-Guides Association.

Special interests: I enjoy showing people the glories of my country and recounting our history and customs. We have many traditions which I enjoy explaining to my clients. My main interests are gardens, history (including D-Day and the Normandy beaches) and prehistory and working with children. Recently I have been researching tours following in the steps of Harry Potter, Winston Churchill, the da Vinci Code and Beatrix Potter. Britain is a medley of glorious scenery, forbidding castles, colourful pageantry and ongoing history. I am willing to help someone in a wheelchair have a good holiday. Come and discover Britain for yourself with my help.

Walking tours: Royal London around Westminster, St. James's and Buckingham Palace. A walk in Hyde Park. Palaces and Politics. Olympics sites.

Extended tours: I qualified in 2010 as a South West England Blue Badge guide, so I can now guide tours in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

During 2011 I qualified as a Cumbria Blue Badge guide, so I can now take people on tours of the Lake District visiting places associated with John Ruskin, William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter among others. Cumbria also includes parts of Hadrian's Wall.

I will tour anywhere within the United Kingdom and northern France.
