Biography: I'm a Londoner by birth, but have lived in other parts of the UK, including Scotland and Northern Ireland. In addition, I spent a year as a senior in a High School in Minnesota. The main element of my degree was American studies. I am interested a broad spectrum of life in the capital; the arts, history, politics, current affairs, sport and rock and roll.

Special interests: I'm currently researching Irish connections in London, a fascinating and under-appreciated component of the capital's make up.

Walking tours: I specialise in walks of literary connections and architecture in Bloomsbury; literary connections and social history of Covent Garden, Southwark, St James's and Royal London; the darker side of London in Smithfield and the financial district -the City of London. I regularly conduct 'Irish Luminaries in London Walk' from St Paul's to Covent Garden. Another walk; Tyler to Trotsky highlights the British working class movement and its development. It covers the Smithfield to Clarkenwell/Islington areas of London. My 'Hampstead Walk' concentrates on the fascinating and diverse personalities who are associated with this picturesque village-like part of the capital.

Extended tours: Britain and Ireland.
